State program 'єЯсла': parents of children under 3 years will receive up to 12000 hryvnias
State program 'єЯсла'
According to ХВИЛЯ: In Ukraine, the state program 'єЯсла' has been introduced, which provides financial support to parents with children under 3 years old in the form of a monthly payment of up to 12000 hryvnias. The 'єЯсла' program started on January 1, 2026, and aims to ease the financial burden on families raising small children.
Amount of assistance
The basic amount of assistance under the program is 8000 hryvnias per month. However, for families raising a child with a disability, a higher payment of 12000 hryvnias per month is provided. It is important to note that these payments are targeted, meaning they can only be used to pay for childcare services.
Parents who wish to receive assistance can contact any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Among the services for which funds can be spent are:
- services of private kindergartens
- nanny services
- child nutrition in educational institutions
- additional paid services in public kindergartens
This program aims to provide support to families by allowing them to choose the best care options for their children.
The introduction of the 'єЯсла' program is an important step in supporting families with small children in Ukraine, especially in conditions of economic instability. As this assistance is targeted, it will contribute to the development of the childcare service sector, which may positively impact the quality of care and upbringing. The program also emphasizes the state's commitment to supporting vulnerable groups of the population, such as families with children with disabilities, by providing them with additional financial support.
