NABU detective involved in an accident on a business trip: details of the crash

On the evening of September 11, a road traffic accident occurred in Ivano-Frankivsk region, in which a detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau was injured. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing the NABU press service.

According to the information, at the time of the accident, the detective was on a business trip. Both drivers of the vehicles involved in the accident were injured and hospitalized. It is noted that the detective was sober.

'Considering the involvement of the State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General in investigating the circumstances of the accident, NABU will fully assist in establishing the truth and will provide necessary legal support to the bureau's detective if needed,' the statement says.

Incident on the streets of the city

It was previously reported that employees of the State Bureau of Investigations informed about the suspicion against a law enforcement officer from Rivne who committed a fatal traffic accident. As a result of the collision with pedestrians, one man was killed, and another was injured.

Another incident occurred on August 29 when a collision happened between a Renault car and a police car Mitsubishi at the intersection of Ivan Fedorov Street and Kazimir Malewich Street, which was moving with flashing lights on. As a result of the accident, the car overturned, and the driver was killed.

As a result of the accident in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the NABU detective was injured, and both drivers were injured and hospitalized. An investigation is currently ongoing to establish the causes and circumstances of this event.
