New Features Coming to the Diia App in 2026

According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced plans to introduce three new services within the Diia application in 2026. Deputy Minister Valeriia Koval revealed the initiative, which is designed to support businesses and citizens during a period of ongoing challenges. The planned services include:

  • a streamlined process for reserving employees from military conscription;
  • an automated tax refund system;
  • a map identifying reliable internet service providers.

Details of the Planned Services

The first service will facilitate the reservation of employees for companies in the defense-industrial complex and other enterprises critical to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This function will apply to workers with unresolved issues at Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) for periods of up to 45 days. The new reservation functionality is scheduled for launch by the end of March 2026.

The second service to be added to Diia will be a declaration of assets and income. This tool aims to simplify the filing process for users. The third service is a Provider Map, which will display the addresses of companies offering internet access via xPON technology and guaranteeing over 72 hours of connectivity during power outages.

In a subsequent phase of the map's rollout, users will gain the ability to monitor service quality by leaving reviews about providers. Deputy Minister Valeriia Koval stated:

“The priority for 2026 remains the automation of processes that directly impact economic stability and the ease of doing business under constant challenges.”

These innovations are intended to improve conditions for businesses and ensure convenience for citizens using government services. The Diia app is a cornerstone of Ukraine's digital government infrastructure, widely used for official documents and services.

The planned updates to the Diia app reflect the Ministry of Digital Transformation's drive to modernize public services and enhance their accessibility for citizens and businesses. In a context where the country faces challenges related to war and economic instability, automating such processes can be a crucial step for supporting the economy and simplifying bureaucratic procedures. The implementation of these services is expected to contribute to infrastructure development and improve citizens' quality of life.
