According to Главком: Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has revealed his passion for collecting elephant figurines and his plans for a new tattoo. Kuleba's collection consists of over a dozen elephant statues, a hobby that began when his ex-wife, Yevheniia Kuleba, gifted him his first piece. For Kuleba, elephants represent a powerful symbol of strength and wisdom.

In an interview, he elaborated on this connection.

“Strength, a symbol of strength and wisdom. I somehow grew attached to them. During the war, I had one moment of childlike happiness. It was when I saw a live elephant in the wild during a visit to an African country. I was as happy as a child,” said Dmytro Kuleba.

Kuleba also shared his intention to get a third tattoo, an elephant design for his upper body. He currently has two tattoos. One depicts a kestrel from a mosaic in Mariupol, created by the artist Alla Horska.

“This is Alla Horska's Kestrel. It's a work she created in Mariupol during Soviet times in the 'Ukraina' restaurant. A kestrel is a type of falcon capable of hovering in the air before attacking its prey, meaning it counteracts the wind,” explained Kuleba.

His second tattoo features lines from the poem 'Dolia' (Fate) by Taras Shevchenko: “These are Shevchenko's words from the poem 'Fate': 'We were not deceitful with you.' Yes, this is my moral compass.”

Kuleba further announced his upcoming marriage to Svitlana Paveletska.
