Presentation of the photo book for the 10th anniversary of the Special Operations Forces

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: For the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a photo book was presented that highlights the activities of Ukrainian special forces. The publication contains over 500 images taken from 2014 to the present, some of which are published for the first time. The photo book covers the history of the units and the combat missions of Ukrainian operators over the past decade, preserving the memory of those who died while carrying out tasks.

The Special Operations Forces reported the presentation of the photo book, stating that all funds from its orders will be donated to the SSO Charity Fund. These funds are planned to be directed to support veterans and help the families of fallen servicemen. The book can be obtained for a charitable contribution, and orders are available on the website of the Veterans Association of the Special Operations Forces.

Activities of the Special Operations Forces

The Special Operations Forces are a separate branch of military forces, which include:

• special forces
• Resistance movement
• information and psychological operations units (IPSO)
• deep strike teams of unmanned aerial vehicles

The Commander of the SSO is Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Trepak. During June and July of this year, the SSO carried out strikes on 13 railway bridges in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which resulted in almost complete cessation of operations at the Kerch ferry crossing. Of the five ferries that Russian occupiers used for military logistics, most were destroyed or damaged. Disrupting the operations of the Kerch ferry crossing is a part of a large-scale special operation aimed at isolating the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The presentation of the photo book is an important step in recognizing and supporting the activities of Ukrainian special forces who perform challenging tasks in the context of armed conflict.
