Prices for oil and eggs in August: how much Ukrainians are paying in supermarkets

According to the latest data from the Minfin portal, Ukrainians continue to monitor prices for key food products such as sunflower oil and chicken eggs. These products form the basis for many families, so changes in their prices affect citizens' budgets.

According to current data, refined sunflower oil of the 'Oлейна' brand sells for an average of 78.26 hryvnias for a 850 ml bottle. Prices can fluctuate from 72.99 to 81.50 hryvnias depending on the store chain.

Also, 'Щедрый Дар' sunflower oil costs about 81.80 hryvnias for the same volume. For example, in 'Novus', this oil is offered for 81.99 hryvnias, and in 'Auchan' – for 81.60 hryvnias.

As for chicken eggs, their prices also remain stable. C1 category eggs from the 'Квочка' brand in a 10-piece package can be purchased for an average price of 67.90 hryvnias in 'Auchan'. In addition, 'Ясенсвит' eggs of the same category cost 73.53 hryvnias for a 10-piece package and are available in various stores.

Given the statistics on the cost of sunflower oil and chicken eggs in Ukraine, everything is quite stable at the moment, allowing consumers to better plan their food expenses.
