Full Sign Language Version of Ukraine’s Constitution Released for Its 30th Anniversary
Marking Three Decades of Ukraine’s Constitution
According to Міністерство соц. політики: To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Constitution, a complete translation into Ukrainian Sign Language has been produced. Nine interpreters contributed to this major effort, accounting for regional variations in the language. Legal experts also took part to ensure that every legal term was rendered with precision and accuracy.
This document outlines the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of every individual. Making it accessible in sign language is a vital step for people with hearing impairments. We take pride in this achievement-true society begins with respect and equal opportunities for all.
This initiative represents a significant advancement in human rights within Ukraine. Access to information about fundamental rights and freedoms is essential for every member of society.
