Pre-trial measures applied to MP Skorokhod: bail of 3 million UAH
The High Anti-Corruption Court set bail for MP Hanna Skorokhod at over 3 million UAH and ordered her to wear an electronic bracelet. The decision was made in the context of a case involving the incitement of an entrepreneur to transfer 250 thousand UAH for allegedly including competitors on the sanctions lists of the National Security and Defense Council. This was reported by Transparency International Ukraine.
Pre-trial Measures for Anna Skorokhod
According to the investigation, Skorokhod could have been leading a criminal organization. The prosecutor requested bail of more than 10.5 million UAH and additional obligations. During the hearing, the names of other suspects were mentioned:
-
Kapacyn – the assistant of the MP
-
Stavenko – their accomplice.
The defense asserts that the suspicion is unfounded, and the bail amount requested by the prosecution is too high. The lawyers suggested personal guarantees or a significant reduction in the amount.
Case Details and Previous Decisions
Skorokhod stated in court that she was to fly to the USA on December 6. Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court had already established pre-trial measures for her alleged accomplices:
-
to the MP's assistant – bail of 1.5 million UAH
-
to the accomplice – detention with alternative bail of 4.5 million UAH.
Now the court has set bail for Skorokhod herself at over 3 million UAH and imposed procedural obligations on her, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
