We rescued the dog Viva from the fifth floor under shelling: how it happened
In the city of Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka in Donetsk region, during the shelling of a damaged building, a dog became trapped on the fifth floor. Despite the constant bombardment, volunteers together with the military rescued the animal, as reported by the 'Animal Rescue Kharkiv' organization, according to 'Glavkom'.
According to the post, the dog spent a month on the fifth floor after the shelling, trapped in the building when the State Emergency Service stopped responding to calls in the city. Volunteers arrived at the scene and saw that all the stairs leading to the dog had been destroyed, so it had to be retrieved from the roof via a different entrance.
We received a request from our volunteer friends from Donetsk regarding this dog. The dog spent a month on the fifth floor, trapped in the building after the shelling. The State Emergency Service no longer comes to the city. Viva was left completely without help. Upon arriving at the scene, we saw that all the stairs to the dog were destroyed. We needed to access her from the roof via a different entrance.
Now the dog named Viva is recovering and looking for a new family. Let us remind you that in Kherson, police also rescued a dog that was tied near a house close to a huge missile crater and successfully avoided enemy shelling.
