Tragedy in Ternivka: the death of miners as a result of the attack

On the night of December 3, the Russian army launched an attack using drones on the private sector in the town of Ternivka in Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of this attack, two local residents were killed - miners Vitaliy Korotich and Valeriy Kalinovich. The press service of DTEK, which manages the mines in the area, confirmed this information.

Vitaliy Korotich, who died as a result of the attack, lived for 43 years and worked at the mine in Ternivka. His colleagues describe him as a very kind and helpful person. The deceased miner was devoted to his family and other loved ones. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Valeriy Kalinovich, another victim of the attack, worked as a miner at the Pavlograd mine and was retired. Colleagues remember him as a responsible mentor and a good man. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

When the first explosion from the drone shattered the night silence, Vitaliy and Valeriy rushed to help the victims and were hit by a second strike. We sincerely sympathize with the relatives of our colleagues. Eternal and bright memory.

This tragedy occurred against the backdrop of escalating events in Donbas, as Russian troops launch attacks on Ukrainian territories. Law enforcement agencies are investigating this case and are looking for those responsible who should be held accountable.

This incident is just one of the many brutal attacks that have occurred as a result of military aggression. Innocent people have become victims of this horrific conflict and pay the highest price for peace and security.
