The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky about the situation at the front. The main focus of the report was on the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk directions, where Ukrainian defenders are holding back the increased pressure of Russian troops and destroying the aggressor's forces, according to 'Glavkom' citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.Syrsky reported that the enemy continues to use small infantry group tactics, but its attempts to break through the defense in the Pokrovsk area have been unsuccessful. Today, Ukrainian troops neutralized an enemy reconnaissance and diversion group that was trying to infiltrate the city.The report also mentioned the needs of the Ukrainian army. Together with the Minister of Defense, Syrsky informed the president about the requests from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the supply of weapons, military equipment, and means of destruction – in particular those that allow for long-range strikes against the enemy's rear.In addition, the commander-in-chief noted the exemplary combat work of several units. Among them:- in the Siverskyi direction – 225th separate assault regiment and 95th airborne assault brigade;- in the Kupiansk direction – 3rd assault brigade;- in the Dobropilsk direction – 82nd airborne assault brigade, 1st and 210th separate assault regiments, 14th brigade of operational assignment of the National Guard;- in the Pokrovsk direction – fighters of the Special Operations Forces and the 59th assault brigade of the unmanned systems.Earlier we reported that Russian terrorists shelled a locomotive on the Dniprodzerzhynsk railway, which was carrying civilian cargo.
