Drones Attack Rostov Region: Explosions Heard Near Airfield (Video)

According to glavcom.ua: Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 12 drones were supposedly shot down over the Rostov region. In total, the agency reported that 25 drones were shot down over the territory of the Russian Federation.

In the evening of July 21, a series of powerful explosions echoed in the Rostov region. Russians reported at least 10 explosions and then saw flashes near the military airfield Millerovo. This was reported by "Glavkom" citing Russian sources.

Local sources distributed videos capturing the sounds of explosions and the operation of air defense.

In other footage, a fire and a column of smoke can already be seen.

The authorities of Rostov region have not yet commented on the attack. It is known that the launches of strike drones over Ukrainian territory occur from this airbase.

Previous Attacks on Millerovo Airfield

Recall that on the night of June 5, explosions were heard in the Rostov region. Later, it became known that drones attacked the military airfield Millerovo.

At that time, the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, confirmed the drone attack in the Millerovo district.

According to him, as a result of the fall of UAV debris, damages were recorded in the village of Sulin. Buildings, power lines, and vehicles were damaged there.

In recent days, a series of explosions can be observed in the Rostov region, which is linked to the Millerovo airfield. The government of Rostov region has not yet commented on these events, but contradictory reports about downed drones and explosion damages are coming from Russian sources. The previous attacks on the airfield indicate that this is not the first such incident in this region.
