Drone Deal: Svyrydenko Discusses Cooperation Plans Between Ukraine and the USA

Ukraine and the USA are in talks regarding an agreement on drone production. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported that negotiations are ongoing with American companies regarding investments in Ukrainian drones. Under the agreement, the United States will expand drone production in the USA.

'We plan to sign a 'drone deal' with the United States. We are discussing investments to expand the production of Ukrainian drones in the USA,' Svyrydenko said, adding that this decision has already been made by Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.

'At a briefing in Kyiv, Minister of Economy Olexiy Sobolev announced that the board of the joint Ukrainian-American fund will meet for the first time by the end of the summer.'

According to the agreement, the USA will also purchase Ukrainian drones. This announcement came the day after President Zelensky instructed the government to develop the Ukrainian defense industry and strengthen cooperation with partners.

An important aspect of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the USA in the field of defense industry. The new cabinet of ministers under Svyrydenko aims to improve relations with the Trump administration, especially in light of recent events in eastern Ukraine.
