According to Главком: On Sunday, January 11, around 12:30, a traffic incident occurred on the road near Krakovets involving a Volvo truck and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. As a result of the accident, a 34-year-old female passenger of the minibus died, and five other individuals sustained varying degrees of injury.

There were seven passengers in the minibus, with the ages of the injured ranging from 18 to 61 years old. At the time of the accident, both drivers of the truck and bus were 39 years old. The police are currently investigating the incident, qualifying it under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for violations of traffic safety rules. The sanctions of this article envisage penalties in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
