According to Главком: A serious collision involving three minibuses occurred on the Kyiv-Odesa highway on February 5th. The crash resulted in the death of a 56-year-old woman at the scene, while two other individuals sustained serious injuries and were trapped inside the vehicles. Emergency services received the call at 3:59 PM. The Kyiv-Odesa route is a major national artery connecting the capital to the country's primary Black Sea port.

The accident took place in the Bila Tserkva district of the Kyiv region. A duty crew from the 48th State Fire and Rescue Unit in the town of Hrebinky was dispatched to the scene. To extract the victims, rescuers employed specialized hydraulic equipment. The operation to free the trapped individuals involved six personnel and two specialized rescue vehicles.

It should be noted that treacherous weather, including icy roads, has led to a spike in accidents across the Kyiv region over the past 24 hours. This tragedy serves as a stark example of the heightened dangers present on roadways during the winter season.
