U.S. President Donald Trump expressed strong disappointment at the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, particularly Kyiv, and the killings of civilians.

At a meeting with Keir Starmer in Scotland, Trump noted that he had previously held negotiations during which, in his opinion, agreements had been reached to regulate the situation. 'We thought this issue was resolved, and time and again,' he said, hinting at previous attempts to prevent escalation.

However, according to Trump, Putin violated these unspoken agreements by launching full-scale military actions. 'And then President Putin starts launching missiles at some city, for example, Kyiv... and kills many people in a nursing home or somewhere else,' the president stated, adding that he saw horrifying footage of 'bodies just lying in the streets.'

Trump repeatedly emphasized his personal feelings about what is happening, stressing his dissatisfaction with the Russian leader's actions. 'I am very disappointed in President Putin. Very disappointed in him,' he repeated.

Trump Prepares for Action

At the end of his speech, the American leader recalled the ultimatum he issued to Putin and stated his intention to shorten its duration due to gross violations of the agreements. 'I will shorten those 50 days I gave him to a lesser number because I think I already know the answer to the question of what will happen,' Trump concluded, leaving room for speculation about his future steps.

Earlier, the former U.S. Secretary of State assessed the turning point in Trump and Putin's relationship.
