Success of Ukrainian athletes at the Youth World Championship

According to Спортивний комітет: At the World Climbing Youth Championship in Arco (Italy), Ukrainian athletes won two silver medals. Ukraine was represented by 15 participants in the disciplines of difficulty, bouldering, and speed. The Ukrainian national team secured silver in two categories:

• Rafael Kazbekova became the vice-champion of the world in the U19 category in the difficulty discipline;
• Polina Khalkievich also took second place in the U19 category but in the speed discipline.

Unfortunately, other Ukrainian athletes did not make it to the top 10. The Ukrainian Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing congratulated Rafael and Polina on their outstanding result and wished the entire team new successes and bright performances in international competitions. The championship was an important stage for Ukrainian athletes on the world stage.
