Unified Entrance Exam 2026: When the results will be announced and the opportunity to retake

In Ukraine, the entrance campaign for master's and graduate studies is ongoing, and thousands of applicants are waiting for the results of the Unified Entrance Exam. The Ministry of Education and Science has set the dates for the release of scores for different sessions and announced who will have the opportunity to retake the test in September. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.

Results of the UEE-2026: When will applicants receive official scores

The Unified Entrance Exam is mandatory for admission to master's and graduate studies. Depending on the specialty, it may be complemented by the Unified Professional Entrance Examination (UPEE), an internal professional exam, or an interview at the higher education institution.

The official results will be published by the Central Ukrainian Agency for Educational Quality Assessment in the personal accounts of participants.

Key dates:

• By August 7 – results of the main session of the UEE for applicants to graduate studies;

• By August 21 – results of the additional session of the UEE and UPEE for applicants to master's studies;

• By September 4 – results of the additional session of the UEE for applicants to graduate studies.

The main testing session will take place from June 26 to July 14, while the additional one will be from August 3 to August 21.

Retaking the UEE-2026: Who will have a second chance

For applicants who could not pass the exam or wish to improve their results, a special session is provided.

It will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026.

Those who can participate are:

• applicants who were registered for the main session but could not complete testing;

• participants who wish to improve their results;

• applicants who did not register for the summer sessions but decided to enroll later.

At the same time, the special session will only be conducted for the Unified Entrance Exam. It will not be possible to retake the Unified Professional Entrance Examination (UPEE) in September.

When will enrollment for contracts start in 2026

After the entrance exams, the stage of competitive selection will begin. Recommendations for enrollment in contract-based education will be published no earlier than September 1.

Standard enrollment will last until September 30, but individual higher education institutions may set their own application deadlines and conduct additional stages of the admission campaign until October 20.
