Complimentary Cinema Event at the Eiffel Tower

According to УНІАН — Туризм: From September 24 to 27, 2026, the first level of the Eiffel Tower-standing 57 meters high-will host a free film screening as part of mk2's Cinéma Paradiso series. This initiative aims to reconnect the landmark with local residents. Admission is free, with tickets distributed through a public lottery on the mk2-festivalparadiso.com website. The full film lineup and guest list will be announced on September 8.

A Cultural Milestone

Launched in 2013, the Cinéma Paradiso series by mk2 will take place on the Eiffel Tower grounds for the first time this year. The screening venue is named Gustave Eiffel. According to mk2 Group CEO Élisha Karmitz, this event carries deep symbolic weight:

“After the Louvre, handing over the Eiffel Tower for management is a profoundly symbolic step.”

As an iconic symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower now serves as a new hub for cultural events, reflecting a commitment to re-engaging local residents and inviting them into the city's cultural life. This effort also underscores the importance of using historic landmarks to promote art and cinema.

The screenings, held at an elevation of 57 meters, promise attendees an unforgettable experience. Beyond showcasing compelling films, the event offers a chance to take in the unique panoramic views from the tower.

This festival highlights the role of cultural initiatives in fostering community participation in the arts, especially in the context of post-pandemic recovery. By transforming one of the world's most famous architectural icons into a venue not just for tourists but also for Parisians, it signals a fresh approach to using historic sites for contemporary cultural events.
