Launched at the end of 2024, the program provides assistance in the amount of 908 hryvnias. These funds can only be used for the purchase of books produced in Ukraine.
Program conditions
According to the program conditions, young people can choose books from over 30 bookstores and publishers, including:
- Yakaboo
- KDS
- Vivat
- Bookstore Ye
- Old Lviv Publishing House
The payment for purchased books must be made cashless, ensuring convenience and security in financial transactions.
It is important to note that the funds allocated under the 'eBook' program are valid for three months from the moment they are credited. The program is available not only to young people living in Ukraine but also to those located outside its borders, making it more universal and accessible to all 18-year-old Ukrainians.
The introduction of the 'eBook' program can promote the development of reading culture among young people, encouraging them to purchase Ukrainian literature. It also highlights the importance of supporting national publishing houses in the context of the globalization of the book market and the promotion of the Ukrainian language and culture among the younger generation. We hope that the program will be an important step towards forming a new reading audience in Ukraine.
