According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian market may seek new suppliers of diesel fuel if Slovakia ceases its supply. The director of the consulting group 'A95' Serhii Kuiun noted that such a development will not be critical, as we receive only 10% of the monthly supply volume from Slovakia.
'There is a lot of fuel in the market, and everyone is competing to attract buyers. Slovakia may 'lose' us, and we are paying a very good price,' explained the expert.
The expert also emphasized that the cessation of diesel supply from Slovakia may have negative consequences for the country itself, as there may be difficulties in finding other buyers and the loss of the 'corruption discount' they receive from Russia.
'The profit from this discount will disappear - and we will disappear as a buyer. That is, they also will not have anyone to sell this expensive fuel to,' Kuiun added.
The cessation of diesel supply may impact the market and may also have a negative effect on Slovakia due to the loss of the opportunity to receive discounts from Russia.
