The EU is ready to assess changes to Ukraine's Plan: what it means for financing

The European Commission has confirmed its readiness to review changes to the 'Ukraine Plan' in accordance with objective circumstances. European Commission representative Guillaume Mercier noted that Ukraine made changes to the plan due to objective circumstances stipulated by the financing regulation. The European Commission is ready to consider Ukraine's official request and recommend changes to the plan to the EU Council if necessary.The updated 'Ukraine Plan' has already been adopted by the government's decision, and its version must be approved by the EU Council by the end of September. Ukraine is receiving financial assistance through the Ukraine Facility program amounting to 50 billion euros, which is tied to reforms in the country and a system of quarterly indicators for providing funding.
