EU expands Ukraine Facility for dual-use technologies: what it will bring
During the Rebuild Ukraine exhibition in Warsaw, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Hvozdiar announced the expansion of the Ukraine Facility to the dual-use technology industry. She noted that this step will allow Ukrainian companies to grow faster, attract investments, and create products that will strengthen the resilience of not only Ukraine but also the whole of Europe.
While participating in the Rebuild Ukraine exhibition, Anna Hvozdiar engaged in discussions about opening investments in strategic sectors and also spoke at a session on 'Investments in resilience and defense'. She emphasized the importance of developing the Ukrainian dual-use industry, where over the past year more than 3,000 enterprises have been working in this field, producing products worth 5.5 billion euros.
“Thanks to this, Ukrainian companies will be able to scale faster, attract investments, and create products that enhance the resilience of Ukraine and all of Europe,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian technology company has gained the opportunity to develop dual-use technologies, which will contribute to strengthening not only the economy but also the defense capability of the country. This step indicates Ukraine's increasing activity in the high-tech sector and its desire to become a reliable partner for the European Union.
