Estonia allocated 3.5 million euros for Starlink for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: how it will enhance communication
According to hvylya.net: Estonia has decided to support Ukraine by allocating 3.5 million euros for the purchase of Starlink satellite systems. This will help increase efficiency and provide communication for Ukrainian forces, especially on the front lines.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the purchase will take place through an IT coalition that combines 17 partner countries to develop digital infrastructure for Ukrainian troops.
This assistance will be in addition to other initiatives, including support from the USA and previously provided support from Estonia for defense and technology development in Ukraine.
Starlink is a modern satellite system by Elon Musk that provides fast internet through low-orbit satellites. Such assistance from the EU will help Ukraine enhance its defense capabilities and provide the necessary communication for military needs.
