FBI Reveals NBA Betting Scheme: Players and Coaches Under Investigation

According to glavcom.ua: The Federal Prosecutor's Office for the Eastern District of New York and the FBI have presented charges in a case regarding illegal betting on NBA games. According to the investigation, players and coaches were passing confidential information to individuals involved in betting on games. Charges have been brought against Miami player Terry Rozier, Portland coach Chauncey Billups, and other former league participants. The FBI has established suspicion of fixing the results of seven games included in the charges, as well as uncovered abuses that have brought criminals tens of millions of dollars.

The Ukrainian men's national basketball team finished first in their group in the pre-qualification for the 2027 World Championship, defeating Slovakia 98:86 in the last round. In the previous match, the team beat Switzerland 73:64. In the second round of the pre-qualification, the Ukrainian team again defeated Slovakia, this time with a score of 80:71.
