Ukraine and UAE Create Agri-Hubs: How This Will Affect the Global Market

According to Мін. Економіки: On November 19, the IV International Conference on Food Security, Food from Ukraine, continues in Kyiv – an important international platform for enhancing cooperation on global food security and developing strategic partnerships between Ukraine and countries around the world.

During the conference, meetings were held with world leaders, ministers, representatives of international organizations, and experts. At one such meeting, Taras Vysotsky, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, and Sultan Al-Shamsi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, discussed the possibility of creating agri-hubs in the Emirates for processing and distributing Ukrainian products.

During the panel discussions of Food from Ukraine 2025, representatives of Ukraine addressed the issues of strengthening the global food system, expanding humanitarian assistance, and fostering innovative cooperation with countries of the Global South.

At the conference, Igor Bezkaraivny, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, emphasized the importance of humanitarian demining of agricultural lands and their comprehensive restoration to ensure global food security.

Conference participants stressed that Food from Ukraine goes beyond ordinary humanitarian assistance. Ukraine once again confirmed its role as a guarantor of global food security and demonstrated its readiness to provide support in critical food shortage situations.

The Food from Ukraine 2025 conference in Kyiv brought together world leaders and experts on food security to seek new pathways for developing the global food system and cooperation between countries. Ukraine continues to actively operate as a global guarantor of food security, confirming its ability to provide aid and innovation even in times of conflict.
