Liberov photographers to become parents for the first time

Famous Ukrainian war photographers Konstantin and Vlada Liberov are expecting their first son. The news was shared by 'Glavkom', citing the couple's Instagram page.

The couple explained that they were initially hesitant about this step, as they hoped for a calmer period for such a joyful event. But the understanding that life moves forward convinced them to change their plans. 'We want to live now, here and today, in an independent Ukraine, in our Kyiv, and raise our son. We waited a long time for the perfect moment but realized that it would never come, so here and now is what we need,' they noted.

To determine the child's gender, Vlada and Konstantin cut a cake on the rooftop of their home, baked by their future son's aunt. The Liberovs are having a son.

It was previously known that Ukrainian photographer Konstantin Liberov received the French Bayeux Calvados-Normandy Award, which honors war correspondents.
