Weapons Transfer and Support Package
The French side is preparing to deliver multi-role Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Ukraine. Work is also underway to supply a record volume of AASM Hammer guided aerial bombs and to accelerate the production and delivery of Aster anti-ballistic missiles. Discussions are also ongoing regarding the provision of long-range strike capabilities to Ukraine, including SCALP missiles.
As part of this cooperation, France will provide Ukraine with a replacement radar for an air defense system while one of its components undergoes repair. France is focusing on repairing the existing SAMP/T system radar and other complexes. Catherine Vautrin stated:
'We are working on this issue, particularly on the repair of the SAMP/T radar, and we plan to provide a replacement radar while it is being repaired.' - Catherine Vautrin

This new phase of collaboration underscores the growing support from Western allies and represents a tangible commitment to enhancing Ukraine's security and regional stability.
