NATO Secretary General Predicts New War

According to glavcom.ua: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that China may try to distract attention from the Asia-Pacific region by attacking Europe through Russia in the event of an attack on Taiwan. He explained that the US defends NATO territory not only to protect Europe but also for its interests in Asia.

“If Xi Jinping attacks Taiwan, he will first call his junior partner in all of this, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who resides in Moscow, and say to him: “Hey, I’m going to do this, and I need you to distract them in Europe by attacking NATO territory,”” Rutte explained.

Currently, developments indicate that NATO is preparing for a possible attack from China's and Russia's allies, cooperating with the Indo-Pacific region and preparing for a potential reduction of American troops in Europe.

China may use Russia against NATO countries by attacking Europe through it in the event of an attack on Taiwan. The NATO Secretary General emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Indo-Pacific region as European allies prepare for a potential reduction of American troops on the continent.
