According to Главком: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports a significant intensification of combat, with 135 clashes recorded on March 6. Russian forces conducted numerous airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and ground assaults across multiple sectors of the front. The most intense offensive activity was concentrated on the Pokrovsk axis, where the enemy launched 22 attacks in the areas of:
- Shakhove
- Zatyshok
- Chervonyi Lyman
- Rodynske
- Hryshyne
- Kotlyne
- Udachne
- Muravka
- Molodetske
- Novopidhorodne
- Novooleksandrivka
- Bilytske
Over the course of the day, Russian forces carried out 54 airstrikes, dropped 175 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 3,565 kamikaze drones. Furthermore, Ukrainian positions and settlements endured 2,506 artillery and mortar strikes. This fighting marks the 1,472nd day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a conflict that continues to reshape European security.
Enemy Activity Across Various Fronts
On the South-Slobozhanske axis, Russian troops attacked twice, shelled Ukrainian positions 90 times-including 3 barrages from multiple launch rocket systems-and attempted to advance four times toward Zybyne, Vilcha, and Shevyakivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 4 attacks on the Kupiansk axis near Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoplatonivka, with one engagement still ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 assaults near Tverdokhlibove, Derylove, Kolodyazi, and in the direction of Stepove, Stavky, Drobycheve, and Lyman, with one clash continuing. On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy made 8 attempts to push toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and in the Zakitne area, with one battle still in progress.
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian forces attacked twice near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Predtechyne, with one fight ongoing. The Kostiantynivka axis saw 20 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshiivka, Yablunivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Berestok, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiyivka, as well as toward Novopavlivka.
On the Huliaipole axis, 19 clashes occurred near Myrne and Huliaipole, and toward Zaliznychne, Krynychne, Olenokostiantynivka, and Varvarivka, with 18 attacks repelled. Airstrikes hit Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Rivne, and Liubytske. The Orikhiv axis recorded 4 clashes near Stepnohirsk and Plavni, with one ongoing, while airstrikes targeted Komyshuvakha and Veselianka.
On the Dnipro River axis, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack toward the Antonivskyi Bridge, and Olhivka came under an airstrike. The frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations persisting across several sectors.
