According to Кабмін: The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces has released a fresh battlefield assessment covering February 24, 2022, through August 17, 2026. Total personnel losses among Russian troops are now estimated at roughly 1,468,760-an increase of 1,440 since the last report. Equipment losses recorded during this period include:
- 12,272 tanks (up 2)
- 25,155 armored fighting vehicles (up 4)
- 48,100 artillery systems (+93)
- 2,037 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) (+3)
- 1,572 air defense systems (+2)
- 439 aircraft and 354 helicopters (no change)
Additional equipment losses are as follows:
- 2,273 ground robotic systems (+16)

- 35 ships and boats (no change)
- 2 submarines (no change)
- 135,448 vehicles and fuel tankers (+597)
- 4,540 pieces of special equipment (+5)
These figures underline the prolonged nature of the war and the unbroken combat operations since it began. Even if the daily increases look small next to Russia's overall military resources, the persistent growth across so many equipment categories may point to evolving tactics or deliberate efforts to destroy key assets. Monitoring such losses is useful for assessing the military situation and preparing next steps.
