Russians claimed control over Dobropillia: what really happened

Russian propaganda is releasing fakes about control over Dobropillia near Hulyaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. However, the General Staff of Ukraine reports that these informational fabrications are not true. An enemy reconnaissance and sabotage group attempted to attack the village but was defeated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so control over the settlement remains with Ukraine.

During counter-sabotage operations, three occupiers were also destroyed on the approach to the settlement, and two more were eliminated shortly after. The General Staff emphasizes that the video shows Ukrainian soldiers of the 33rd separate assault battalion who successfully completed their mission.

Activity of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad areas

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Ukrainian troops are successfully countering attempts by Russian forces to gather assault infantry groups and encircle the towns of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to actively defend their territory from Russian threats, destroying enemy groups and inflicting losses on the enemy. The General Staff notes that the situation in the region remains under the control of the Ukrainian side, despite Russian propaganda.
