Ukrainian Military Reports 120 Combat Engagements and 57 Airstrikes in Past 24 Hours

According to Главком: In its latest evening briefing, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation across the front lines. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces were engaged in 120 separate combat clashes. Russian forces launched 57 airstrikes, dropped 173 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,244 kamikaze drones, and carried out 2,521 artillery and mortar strikes against Ukrainian military positions and settlements.

Enemy Activity Across Key Frontline Sectors

Russian forces maintained offensive pressure across multiple sectors of the front. On the Pokrovsk axis, preliminary reports indicate 26 occupiers were killed and 15 wounded. Ukrainian defenders destroyed two enemy vehicles, eight shelters, and an ammunition depot. They also damaged an artillery piece, seven vehicles, a UAV control point, and 46 enemy shelters. On this axis alone, 243 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed during 23 separate enemy attacks.

• On the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk axes, Russian troops conducted 112 strikes on military positions and settlements, 13 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
• On the South-Slobozhanske axis, the enemy attempted two assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Vovchansk and Synelnykove.
• On the Kupiansk axis, one enemy attack was recorded in the area of Novoplatonivka.
• On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian assaults near Lyman and Drobycheve.
• On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy made seven attempts to advance towards Dronivka, Siversk, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
• On the Kramatorsk axis, one enemy attack occurred near Predtechyne.
• On the Kostiantynivka axis, Russian forces launched 13 assaults today on Ukrainian defensive positions near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusynyi Yar, Pleshchiivka, Popovyi Yar, and Sofiyivka.
• On the Huliaipole axis, 33 enemy attacks took place in the areas of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, and Staroukrainka.

As of February 27, Ukraine has endured 1,465 days of full-scale war. The frontline situation remains tense, with active combat operations across many sectors. The high frequency of airstrikes and artillery fire underscores the continued intensity of the conflict and Russia's persistent efforts to gain ground. Despite this pressure, Ukrainian forces continue to defend their territory and inflict significant losses on the enemy, demonstrating the resilience of Ukraine's military in the face of a prolonged war. The Pokrovsk axis, in particular, has been a focal point of intense fighting in recent months.
