Russia's Total Combat Losses

According to Кабмін: Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff has released updated estimates of Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 10, 2026. According to the data, Russian personnel losses have reached approximately 1,248,560, with an increase of 980 recorded on the latest day alone. These figures highlight the immense human cost of the ongoing conflict, which has become the largest conventional war in Europe since World War II.

Losses of Equipment and Weaponry

In addition to personnel, Russia has lost significant quantities of military hardware over the four-year period:

  • 11,656 tanks (+2)
  • 24,018 armored combat vehicles (+5)
  • 37,089 artillery systems (+33)
  • 1,637 multiple launch rocket systems
  • 1,297 air defense systems (+2)
  • 435 aircraft
  • 347 helicopters
  • 129,160 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (+1,198)

Other losses include 4,270 cruise missiles. The Russian Navy has lost 28 ships and boats, along with 2 submarines. Losses also extend to 77,734 units of automotive equipment (+182) and 4,070 units of special equipment (+1). The data is considered approximate and subject to further verification.

These staggering figures reflect the scale of the fighting and its devastating impact on Russian military personnel and materiel. The sustained high rate of equipment losses, particularly in recent days, suggests intensified combat operations. This information is crucial for analysts and policymakers assessing the war's current dynamics and the strategic positions of both sides.
