Hero of Ukraine Valenty Man'ko heads the Assault Troops Management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: what is known about him
According to glavcom.ua: Colonel Valenty Man'ko became the head of the Assault Troops Management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after leading the 33rd Assault Battalion. The head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, emphasized that his career path is an example for other soldiers and volunteers.
Valenty Man'ko began his military career in 2014 in Eastern Ukraine, where the volunteer unit he organized joined the DUK 'Right Sector'. Under his leadership, key battles were fought as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation. In 2024, Valenty Man'ko was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and presented with the Order of 'Gold Star' for courage in defending the sovereignty of the country.
Due to his merits and victories in harsh conditions on the front line, Valenty Man'ko received high military awards. His appointment to the new position is recognition of his contribution to protecting Ukraine and improving the military potential of the country.
