Protecting Ukraine's Energy System Discussed

According to Главком: At the Munich Security Conference, DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko met with global leaders to address the urgent need to protect Ukraine's energy infrastructure. He emphasized the country's critical energy requirements and called for active international involvement in restoring the damaged systems. This follows his earlier appeal at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he similarly highlighted the importance of sustained support. Ukraine's energy grid has been a primary target of military strikes, making its defense a matter of international security.

Vital Need to Protect Energy Infrastructure

Maksym Timchenko stressed that safeguarding energy infrastructure is vital for Ukraine's national security. He underscored the necessity of bolstering air defense capabilities and supporting the power supply to Ukrainian households through mobile generators and equipment for repairing damaged power plants and the grid.
