First official trip: Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi visits Kharkiv Oblast

According to МВС: Kharkiv Oblast has been one of the most active front-line areas since Russia launched its full-scale invasion. Ukraine's Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivskyi chose the region for his first official visit in the role, meeting troops from the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The discussions covered frontline conditions and issues requiring immediate action, in particular stronger logistical support.

Vyhivskyi spoke with Denys "Redis" Prokopenko, commander of the 1st NGU Corps "Azov," and Maksym Holubok, first deputy commander and chief of staff of the 2nd NGU Corps "Khartiia." The minister also heard reports from the head of the Omega NGU special operations center and from the leaders of the eastern directorates of both the National Guard and the Border Guard. He instructed the relevant units to reinforce equipment and supply chains.

"First of all, I met with the servicemen and women of the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, who, together with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, are holding positions in this region. Despite constant Russian assaults and changes in enemy tactics, the guardsmen and border guards have achieved considerable successes. Over the last seven days, National Guard and Border Guard units destroyed or damaged:

• 3 tanks
• 149 artillery systems
• 809 vehicles and special equipment
• 64 ammunition and fuel depots
• 4982 enemy drones
