Ukraine presented the green industrial recovery program: details of the initiative
In the city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), the global industrial summit UNIDO GC21 has begun, at which Ukraine presented its vision for green industrial recovery. The delegation of the country was led by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Andriy Telyupa. During the event, Ukraine's leading representative presented the green industrial recovery program and the trilateral industrial dialogue model.
Ukraine's participation in the summit
At the plenary session, Andriy Telyupa noted that Ukraine is actively working on creating a competitive and sustainable industry, fully integrating into European and global value chains. He also presented the UNIDO program for green industrial recovery in Ukraine and the trilateral dialogue model.
“UNIDO has been closely collaborating with the Government of Ukraine for many years,” emphasized Yuco Yasunaga, Deputy Director General of UNIDO.
Negotiation results
During the visit to Saudi Arabia, the Ukrainian delegation held the first meeting of the updated Joint Business Cooperation Council. A Memorandum to activate the Council's work as a platform for strategic partnership was also signed. Ukrainian representatives also met with the leadership of the company responsible for organizing the World Expo - 'EXPO Riyadh Company'.
Ukraine actively participated in the Global Industrial Summit and demonstrated its commitment to green industrial recovery aimed at creating a sustainable and competitive industry integrated into the European Union and global value chains. The Ukrainian delegation also actively collaborated with developed countries of the world and signed important memoranda with partners from Saudi Arabia, which will facilitate further cooperation and development in all areas of industry.
