According to Главком: On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, hourly electricity blackouts will be in effect across the Kyiv region, according to schedules provided by the energy company DTEK. These localized outages are part of a nationwide effort to manage the power grid, with industrial consumers across all Ukrainian regions also facing scheduled power limitations on this date.

By implementing these rolling blackouts during periods of high strain on the energy system, authorities aim to reduce the risk of wider, uncontrolled outages and preserve a balance between electricity production and consumption. Consumers are strongly advised to plan their daily activities around the published outage hours to minimize disruption.
