Ukrainian national basketball player continues career in Austria
According to glavcom.ua: 21-year-old Kristina Kulesha, a forward for the Ukrainian national team, has signed a contract with the Austrian club 'UBI Graz' for the next season. This information was disseminated by the FBU.
'UBI Graz' became the vice-champion of Austria last season. Although the team won the regular championship, they lost in the final with a score of 0:3 to Klosternburg. In addition, 'UBI Graz' had a rather unsuccessful participation in the Central European Women's League (CEWL) – the team lost all 7 matches in the group stage.
Last season, Kristina played for the Croatian club 'Zagreb', where she averaged 14.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 25 matches. Thanks to her contribution, the team reached the semifinals of the playoffs.
