The Sveska community in Sumy region has decided to allocate 500 thousand hryvnias for shelters in hospitals, which is an important step in ensuring the safety of patients and medical staff. This measure highlights the importance of creating safe conditions in medical institutions, especially in the current situation in the country.
The Pidhaitsi territorial community of Volyn region also showed initiative by allocating 500 thousand hryvnias for the Tyahyn community in Kherson region. This funding will support the development of infrastructure and improve living conditions in areas that have been most affected by the conflict.
Cultural Initiatives and Recreation for Children
On the cultural front, a concert of the popular performer alyona alyona took place in the Palace of Sports in Kyiv, where funds were raised to support the community. During the charity auction held as part of the concert, 180 thousand hryvnias were raised. This money will go to support those in greatest need.
Communities are also actively involved in organizing recreation for children. Children from Luhansk region had the opportunity to participate in hippotherapy organized by a community from Cherkasy region. This not only promotes their physical development but also positively affects their emotional state. Moreover, children from Donetsk region visited Mukachevo and the 'Palanok' castle, which provided them a wonderful opportunity to escape from harsh realities.
The cooperation between communities from Sumy, Kherson, Volyn, Lviv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia demonstrates the unity and readiness of Ukrainians to support each other in challenging times. These initiatives are a vivid example of how communities unite for a common purpose and help one another.
