Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Takes Fire Control Over Russian Logistics in the South
Drone Operations by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence
According to Главком: Operators of unmanned systems from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense (HUR MO) are striking Russian military logistics infrastructure in southern Ukraine. The areas under fire control include sections of the land corridor linking Crimea to Donetsk via Berdiansk and Melitopol. These routes are used by the Russian army to transport fuel, ammunition, military equipment, and other supplies.
Ukrainian drone attacks have resulted in damage to:
- fuel tankers;
- cargo trucks;
- a flatbed trailer.
During combat missions, loitering munitions and Shark-M reconnaissance drones were deployed. Previously, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck an ST-68 radar station in Feodosia, as well as drone control points near Kalynove and Novohrodivka. Strikes on ammunition depots near Hrabove in Donetsk region were also noted.
Key Operational Outcomes
Additionally, occupiers’ materiel and equipment near Mariupol, Novoselivka Druha, and Buhas were hit. A key result of these operations was the destruction of a Russian unit command post near Paraskoviivka, leading to irreversible enemy losses of 18 military personnel.
As HUR notes, 'the work to destroy enemy military logistics is systematic and aimed at complicating the supply of Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.'
Thus, Ukrainian forces continue active efforts to dismantle enemy military logistics, significantly impacting the course of combat operations in the region. The destruction of key logistics infrastructure elements can severely hinder the supply of resources to the Russian army, thereby affecting their ability to conduct combat operations. This underscores Ukraine’s ongoing strategic struggle to control vital territories and resources in the south of the country.
In addition to the recent strikes on logistics routes, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence has also targeted enemy transport systems, demonstrating a systematic approach to disrupt Russian supply lines. This includes significant operations against occupier trains in Crimea, further complicating the movement of resources for the Russian military. Such coordinated efforts are pivotal in weakening the enemy's operational capabilities in the region.
