HUR warns about a new Russian fake regarding the "secret elections" of the President of Ukraine in the Alps

According to glavcom.ua: Russian special services have launched an active information campaign against Ukraine. According to HUR, their goal is to sow distrust within Ukrainian society and weaken the country's ability to resist Russian occupiers. Among the fakes being spread is information about a secret meeting of Ukrainian military and state officials with representatives of the USA and Great Britain in the Alps.

The lie aims to increase social tension in Ukraine, divert attention to the elections, and reduce Ukraine's ability to counter Russian occupiers.

In particular, Russian special services are attacking Ukraine's military intelligence by spreading fakes about the involvement of one of the servicemen from the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in drug trafficking. HUR urges Ukrainians not to believe Russian disinformation and to actively counter it. For example, recently a fake was spread about Ukrainian servicemen ending up in criminal proceedings due to desertion.

Russian special services are actively disseminating fakes and false information to discredit Ukraine and its defense structures. This creates tension in society and complicates relationships with other countries.
