According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian military intelligence has thwarted an assassination attempt on the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), Denis Kapustin, who is considered a personal enemy of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The special operation lasted over a month, during which funds allocated by Russian intelligence services for the liquidation of Kapustin were detected and intercepted. According to the information, the Russian intelligence services allocated half a million dollars for carrying out this assassination.

RDK commander Denis Kapustin remains alive and is on the territory of Ukraine. It is known that the funds designated for his murder were intercepted by the Ukrainian side. Timur, a representative of the Ukrainian intelligence, noted:

“Our side also received the corresponding amount of money allocated by Russian intelligence services for carrying out this crime.”
