China Expands Missile Production to Establish Its Dominance

Since the beginning of 2020, China has been actively expanding its missile production facilities. One of the main goals of this is to strengthen its position alongside the armed forces of the United States and assert its influence in the region.

According to CNN, over 60% of the 136 facilities related to missile production and the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force of China have increased in size from the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2025. The additional area of these facilities has expanded by over two million square meters.

'This is China wanting to be a superpower. We are on the brink of a new arms race. China has already gone into a sprint and is preparing for a marathon,' commented expert William Alberque.

Experts emphasize that the missiles produced at the expanded facilities could become a key component of any potential military takeover of Taiwan. This is part of China's strategy to deter the US Navy in the event of conflict and to lay the groundwork for a possible attack on Taiwan.

After Russia's aggression in Ukraine, China has significantly accelerated the pace of missile production expansion, trying to divert attention from its actions in the war zone. This has a substantial impact on the geopolitical landscape and security in the region.

Russian air attacks have highlighted the importance of producing both cheap and expensive missiles, which become a key part of the strategy in preparing for warfare. This has also caused supply issues for the US due to a lack of support from certain countries, threatening the strategy of deterring China.

Pacific Forum President David Santoro warns of the onset of a 'cold war' that could escalate into direct confrontation, encompassing all areas of geopolitical relations.

The message reveals that China is actively expanding missile production to enhance its influence in the region and support its geopolitical position. The sharp increase in the quantity and size of facilities equipped for missile production poses a threat to regional security and may lead to heightened tensions in international relations.
