Strike on the bridge over the Dniester: Moldova closed two border checkpoints

According to МЗС: The Ukrainian-Moldovan border temporarily closed two border checkpoints due to a drone strike on the bridge on the Odesa-Reni highway near the village of Mayaki. The Moldovan border police urge to redirect passenger transport and cargo traffic to other checkpoints.

A temporary mobile camp near the closed Mayaki-Udobne – Palanca checkpoint provides citizens with food and hot drinks. Ukrainians are advised to refrain from traveling through these border checkpoints and use alternative routes at the border with other regions.

In case of an emergency abroad, it is recommended to immediately contact the nearest Ukrainian diplomatic institution or the 'hotline' of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
