The Ideologist of the 'Russian World' Gubarev Called the War in Ukraine a Mistake of Russia

According to glavcom.ua: Former 'people's governor' of Donbas, Pavel Gubarev, who previously advocated for the 'Russian World', now admits that the Russian invasion of Ukraine was a mistake. In his interview, he even says that it would have been better to avoid this war altogether. Gubarev expressed outrage that the war in the east of the country is only mass killing people without leading to a positive outcome.

Igor Girkin (known as Strelkov), a former terrorist, also criticized the idea of building 'buffer zones' in Ukraine. He called Vladimir Putin's idea 'idiotic' from a tactical point of view, insisting that these zones do not provide advantages in the struggle against Ukraine.

«For strike drones, a distance of 30-50 km is, overall, insignificant in terms of its effect on the degree of damage to our objects», Girkina emphasized.

In this interview, the former propagandist acknowledged his mistakes and expressed outrage over the senseless war in eastern Ukraine, emphasizing that the loss of thousands of lives is an immeasurable tragedy.
