Klymenko on frontline communities: how evacuation groups operate under shelling
Today, Ihor Klymenko visited frontline communities in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions, where the lives of residents are constantly at risk. In Zaporizhzhia, together with the head of the region and the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he held a meeting on the capability of the service under blackout conditions and evacuation. Due to difficult conditions, evacuation groups received new equipment from the Howard Buffett Foundation to better cope with shelling.
In Kharkiv region, Ihor visited a transit point and a settlement for evacuees who lost their homes due to the war. Police officers, rescuers, and service providers work around the clock to provide support and assistance to people during this challenging situation.
