Coordinated Urban Warfare Drills Among Multiple Brigades

According to МВС: Instructors from the 1st, 12th, 14th, 15th, and 20th brigades recently joined forces for intensive urban combat exercises. These drills focused on essential skills including:

  • clearing buildings
  • close-quarters battle (CQB) tactics
  • marksmanship and weapons handling
  • drone deployment
  • maneuvering in small units

The participating instructors represented the following units:

  • 1st Bureviy Brigade
  • 12th Azov Brigade
  • 14th Red Kalyna Brigade
  • 15th Kara-Dag Brigade
  • 20th Liubart Brigade

Thanks to the extensive combat experience of those involved, the teams were able to effectively refine their tactics under the guidance of instructors from the 1st Corps National Guard’s Azov training battalion.

These joint exercises highlight the military’s commitment to enhancing operational readiness in complex urban environments.

By integrating seasoned trainers, the brigades not only sharpen their combat capabilities but also strengthen inter-unit cooperation-critical factors that improve performance during real combat missions. Urban warfare remains one of the most demanding combat scenarios, making such training vital for modern military forces.
