Investments in Ukraine: what was agreed at the Recovery Conference in Rome

Ukraine received over 13 billion euros for the recovery of its economy. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that at the Recovery Conference held in Rome, more than 200 agreements and memoranda were concluded for a total amount of over 13 billion euros.

The European Commission announced the creation of a European Flagship Fund for the recovery of Ukraine in the amount of 500 million euros, which will facilitate the development of new business projects in the country.

2.3 billion euros will be attracted within the Ukraine Facility for the reconstruction of the housing, medical, and energy sectors, as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Various countries contributed to the recovery of the Ukrainian economy. The World Bank launched a program of 200 million dollars for the preparation of public and municipal recovery projects. Japan invested 188 million dollars in the 'green' modernization of Ukrainian industry. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide 134 million euros for Ukraine's transport infrastructure and 200 million euros for hydropower development.

As a result of the important Recovery Conference in Rome, Ukraine secured significant financial resources to improve the economic situation in the country. These funds will support the reconstruction of various sectors, the development of new projects, and will contribute to the overall rise of Ukraine's economy.
